Crochet Club

Crochet club runs 12.45 - 1.15pm every Monday lunchtime for any child who would like to attend, though we do ask for a long term commitment to this club as we often learn new stitches.

Mrs Lundy and Mrs Fayers run our crochet club from the library.

Don't worry if you are in Upper Key Stage 2 and want to come, you can ask for a lunchtime pass to have your dinner early and still have time to join us at Crochet Club.

What Do We Make?

We are currently making Christmas decorations to sell, money we raise will be given to the school.

Last term we made jellyfish; we sold these at the Summer Fayre, giving the money we raised to charity.

During the Spring term, we were helping to stitch blankets to give to a charity that supports new born babies in Africa who are born very poorly. Known as 'Fish and Chip' babies they are sent home from hospital wrapped in newspaper to try to keep them warm - we hope our blankets have helped them.
