St Edmundsbury CEVA Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced and effective School Business Manager to join its senior leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in the life of the school. The School Business Manager is a key role, responsible for all aspects of financial management, ensuring all non-teaching aspects of the school run efficiently and effectively, contributing to the achievement of school aims.
We are looking for someone who can:
- provide an effective and efficient operational support function in school to which deployed: financial resources, administration, human resources, estates and health and safety management, management information and ICT
- in conjunction with the school leadership team and governors, develop the long term strategic plan for the school initiatives, subsequently planning and managing change in the areas of administration, finance, workforce design, estates management and IT
- act as a member of the school's senior leadership team (SLT), actively promoting the vision, values and ethos of the school and assisting the Headteacher to ensure that the school meets its educational aims by participating in and influencing decision making with the school to improve the outcomes and well-being of its pupils
- promote the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensure the most effective use of resources in support of the school's learning objectives by keeping up-to-date with the latest relevant developments and legislation.
