Fiona Knapp

Fiona moved to Suffolk from Derbyshire in 2001.  She has two grown up daughters, Sarah and Hannah, and is granny to Jack.  Fiona has been involved with primary education for more than thirty years and was a Headteacher for fourteen years in Derbyshire and Suffolk.  She is passionate about children's learning and has worked in a wide range of schools in addition to teaching overseas.  Fiona is now a freelance educational consultant and works with schools across the UK and internationally.  Within the diocese, she works directly in schools and at the Cathedral Education Centre, to support high quality teaching and learning in RE.  Fiona worships at St Edmundsbury Cathedral and enjoys music, the theatre and reading.  She loves watching rugby, cricket and tennis and particularly enjoys occasional trips to Twickenham, Lords and Wimbledon!
