Midday Supervisors

We are looking to recruit midday supervisors to work Monday to Friday 12pm-1.20pm daily.

  • £9.25 per hour
  • 6 hours 40 minutes per week
  • 38 weeks per year

Required from November 2021.

 

We are looking for a positive, friendly, caring, committed person who can work as part of a team forming good relationships with children and adults, in our welcoming school.

 

Other desirable attributes include:

  • enjoyment of the outdoors
  • are positive and patient
  • are good with young people and adults
  • have team skills
  • are flexible and organised
  • have a sense of humour
  • First aid qualification would be helpful but full training will be given

SEND Learning Support

 

  • £17,842 per annum
  • 31 hours per week, term time only
  • Required from November 2021.
  •  

We wish to appoint a 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant for a Year 1 class.

  • We are looking for a special person to support a child with complex needs.
  • You will need to have a patient, positive and kind attitude, with excellent skills of communication and a genuine love of working with children.
  • You will be supportive of the school's Christian ethos.
  • Experience of supporting children with SEN in an educational setting is desirable.
  • A calm, kind and dedicated approach is required as is the ability to use your own initiative.
  • Good communication is essential
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn and any experience in a similar role would be a huge advantage

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Required from January 2022, 8.30am - 3.20pm

Learning Support Assistant: £18,471 per annum

Higher Level Learning Support Assistant: £23,894 per annum

We are looking for a dedicated individual who has high expectations of progress, attainment and pupil behaviour.

You will be required to support pupils individually or in small groups across UKS2.

You will be based with a specific Year 5 class as a teaching assistant each morning and then move to cover the UKS2 class teachers for PPA time. Additionally, you may be asked to cover for emergency illness or training. 

You must:

  • hold or be working towards the appropriate HLTA qualification
  • be able to make good relationships with children
  • be a calm and able communicator
  • be able to support children's learning in subjects throughout the curriculum - particularly in English and Mathematics
  • some experience of working with children with special educational needs would be useful but not essential.
