Consultation on Admission Arrangements 2024/25

Consultation on the admission arrangements for St Edmundsbury C of E Voluntary Aided Primary School year 2024/25

 

St Edmundsbury CEVA Primary School, Bury St Edmunds, is consulting on the admission arrangements for the 2024/2025 academic year in line with the School Admissions Code 2021.

 

The consultation will commence at 9am on Tuesday 6th December 2022 and will conclude at midnight on Monday 16th January 2023.

 

The school must set admission arrangements annually.  Where changes are proposed to admission arrangements, the school must first publicly consult on these arrangements.  If no changes are made, consultations must take place at least once every 7 years. 

 

The Consultation Process

 

We would welcome your views on the proposed admission arrangements.  The proposed 2024/25 Admission Policy is below.  If you would like a paper copy, please contact the School Office on 01284 752967.

 

Notification of the consultation is being communicated by St Edmundsbury CEVA Primary School to the following: 

 

· Suffolk County Council

· All other primary and middle schools within our locality

· All playgroups, children centres, nurseries and pre-schools within our locality and within a 2 mile radius of the school

· All parents and carers of pupils at the school

· All staff and governors at the school

 

You are welcome to respond by emailing comments relating to the proposed admissions arrangements to admin@stedmundsburyprimary.co.uk.

 

At the end of the consultation process, all responses will be collated and presented to the school’s Governing Body for full consideration.  The 2024/25 Admissions Policy must be approved and published by 28th February 2023.
